responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable microservices utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and associated technologies.\nBuild highly scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed applications capable of handling enterprise workloads.\nDrive performance engineering initiatives across application, middleware, and database layers.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and optimize Java microservices through JVM tuning, memory management, garbage collection optimization, thread management, connection pool tuning, and API performance improvements.\nOptimize Oracle and PostgreSQL database solutions through query tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, schema design optimization, and database performance monitoring.\nCollaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.\nContribute to cloud modernization initiatives and support the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and goals.\nContribute to architectural decisions related to scalability, reliability, observability, performance optimization, and cloud adoption.\nYour skills and experience\nMust Have\n9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java technologies and Microservices.\nSignificant experience designing and developing enterprise-scale, highly scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\nStrong expertise in Microservices Architecture, including design patterns, resiliency patterns, scalability, fault tolerance, and observability.\nDeep proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.\nProven experience in performance optimization and tuning of Java applications and microservices, including:JVM tuning and performance analysis\nMemory management and garbage collection optimization\nThread management and concurrency optimization\nApplication profiling and diagnostic tools\nProduction performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis\nAPI and service response time optimization\n\nStrong expertise with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.\nHands-on experience in database performance tuning and optimization, including:SQL query tuning\nExecution plan analysis\nIndexing strategies\nSchema and data model optimization\nDatabase scalability and performance troubleshooting\nDatabase monitoring and optimization best practices\n\nExperience working with business-critical systems where performance, scalability, reliability, and availability are essential.\nExperience integrating Excel\nPrevious experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nStrong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with messaging and event-streaming platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.\nFamiliarity with cloud-native architecture patterns and managed services on GCP.\nUnderstanding of Architecture and Design Principles, Algorithms, and Data Structures.\nExperience with observability platforms, monitoring frameworks, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation concepts.\nExperience working with data engineering or analytics platforms.\nPrevious experience with Python or other scripting languages.\nProficiency in Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines,
