Other duties may be assigned.\nReviews drawings, blueprints, sketches, manuals or sample parts to determine, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.\nSelects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines. Checks for functionality and performance.\nCalculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angles, etc. \nAble to input or retrieve the correct program code from the machine and network.\nPerform first piece inspections and in-process quality control checks by using tools such as micrometers, calipers, depth gages, go no-go gages, comparators, etc.\nAble to make minor edits to existing programs, all set up and edits are checked by more experienced personnel.\nChange tooling and offsets when necessary to assure product is meeting tolerances and specifications.\nPerforms routine maintenance on machines and equipment.\nCompletes required paper work such as routing sheet, time sheet and etc.\nConfers with Supervision, area leaders, programmers, engineers, or others to resolve machining or assembly issues. \naintains acceptable levels of production according to established standards.\nPractices good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies.\nRequirements\nJob Requirements\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:\nAbility to interpret drawings, blueprints, and written / verbal instructions with limited supervision to setup and operate CNC equipment.\nFamiliar with M & G Codes as well as understanding how they are used to make edits in programs\nAbility to verify parts using quality measuring devices.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nStand for long periods of time.\nAble to lean and reach.\nAble to run manual equipment\nEducation and/or Experience:\nFormal CNC Training preferred\n3+ years’ CNC experience\nWe believe in transparent and equitable pay.
