This role serves as a technical resource for Engineering and Manufacturing teams by conducting electrical testing, troubleshooting products and systems, supporting new product development activities, and maintaining test equipment and automated test systems.\nThe ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with electrical and electronic systems, instrumentation, and product testing. This position plays a critical role in supporting product performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering project execution.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nPerform electrical, electronic, and electromechanical testing on development and production products.\nAssist engineers with product development, validation, and qualification testing activities.\nBuild, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic test setups, prototypes, and fixtures.\nOperate test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.\nMaintain test equipment and coordinate repair and preventative maintenance activities.\nCollect, analyze, and document test data and prepare technical reports.\nSupport root cause investigations and troubleshooting of product failures and manufacturing issues.\nEvaluate returned products and perform failure analysis on electrical and electronic components.\nCreate and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.\nSupport manufacturing operations by troubleshooting electrical product and process issues.\nParticipate in new product introductions and engineering change implementation.\nAssist in developing test fixtures and automated testing solutions.\nMaintain and enhance data acquisition and automated testing systems.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, cost reduction, productivity, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve product performance and manufacturability.\nAbility to travel up to 25%\nQualifications and Educational Requirements:\nAssociate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.\nTwo or more years of experience in electrical testing, electronics manufacturing, product validation, or engineering support preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits.\nFamiliarity with test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.\nKnowledge of industrial controls, pneumatics, sensors, conveyors, machine safety and vision systems.\nExperience with assembly automation, robotics, controls integration, machine design and manufacturing process optimization.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience with ERP systems preferred.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication, leadership and influencing skills with ability to work effectively independently and within cross-functional teams.\nOther Requirements:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, schematics, and specifications.\nAbility to communicate effectively with engineers, operations personnel, suppliers, and customers.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to stand and walk throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.\nAbility to work with hand tools, measurement equipment, and testing devices.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.\nNOTE: DwyerOmega is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, ancestry, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.\nWe believe in transparent and equitable pay.
