Duties will also include repair and rework of electronics assemblies using both SMT and Thru-hole components, and assisting in the operation of SMT and other electronics assembly production equipment. Accurately assembling various devices according to standard work instructions to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals. Inspects product builds, making sure it meets criteria of quality.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThru-Hole and SMT hand-soldering of components into electronic assemblies\nRework of Thru-Hole and SMT electronic assemblies\nOperation of Electronics Manufacturing Equipment\nConnect and solder electrical components, cables, and wires per project requirements. \nUnderstanding and daily application of quality systems and quality standards. \nEnsure good operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluate and improve new equipment and techniques. \nWorks closely with electrical apparatuses such as meters, regulators, reference detectors etc. \nCollect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during assembly and rework. \nMaintain safe and clean work environment, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies. \nResolve problems by investigating; identify solutions and recommend action. \nContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nKeep up-to-date knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets and gases. \nWork effectively with the team to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly production goals are met. \nInspection of completed assemblies to ensure they meet company requirements for quality and accuracy. \nAttention to detail to produce an accurate and high-quality product\nIdentify problems and help implement solutions. \nAssemble electrical, electronic systems and support structures. Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring and assembly housings. \nRead and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, or production orders. \nTest functional performance. \nMaintain computer knowledge and internal software.\nEnhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.\nPackage finished products and preparing them for shipping. \nAbility to work daily and overtime as required. \nAbility to assist in other work-related areas as required. \nIndependently operate machines\nKnowledge of chips design, digital, analog\nCircuits, design flow, hardware description languages \nFundamentals in basic electronics\nAbility to understand circuits and explain the function \nProficient in logical and analytical thinking for circuit debugging and programming \nMaintain electrical safety (ESD)\nProduction techniques to troubleshoot electronic equipment and repair. \nMaintain knowledge of circuit components, physical design, PCB layout and function. \nOther duties as assigned \nRequirements\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. \n1 year of experience in related field (Preferred). \nSkilled in all aspects of PCB soldering\nBasic knowledge of electrical components, instruments, and devices. \nElectronic assembly experience. \nSkill and ability to control use of resources. \nAbility to be an effective team member; communicate and cooperate with other personnel. \nProficient knowledge of the computer and Microsoft Office products. \nBasic math skills. \nAbility to maintain confidential information, in accordance with company policy. \nAbility to work independently and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner. \nKnowledge of IPC A-610 inspection criteria\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to use small tools and components such as tweezers, pliers, cutters, soldering irons, ovens, and electrical test equipment. \nCombination of a standing and sitting position which includes frequent walking, lifting and occasionally carrying of up to 50 pounds. \nBody mobility to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach. \nThis position occasionally works in an industrial environment and may be exposed to dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals, and loud noises and changes in temperature. \nAbility to stand for long periods of time.\nPAY TRANSPARANCY\nWe believe in transparent and equitable pay.
