Looks for guidance from lead personnel to have materials, equipment, and jobs setup and rely on lead personnel for direction.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nPerforms duties by verbal or written instructions.\nCrimps, screws, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to fasten parts together.\nAssembles or attaches various hardware such as caps, clamps, tape, lugs, connectors, etc. to assemblies.\nTends to machines that shape, press, insert, wind, or weld component parts.\nSorts, packs, and records production information.\nMaintains acceptable levels of production according to established standards.\nAssists other associates when needed.\nMaintains dialog with lead personnel on status of work and raw material to ensure efficiency.\nPractices good safety and housekeeping procedures and adheres to all established policies and procedures.\nRequirements\nExperience/Skills Required:\nGood communication skills and ability to understand verbal and written instructions.\nAbility to stand, walk, kneel, and work over equipment for long periods of time.\nAbility to work with and handle very small parts (.003 diameter).\nAbility to work with hand tools and possibly run a semi-automated machine.\nAbility to learn and understand dimensions on drawings.\nAbility to lift up to 20 lbs.\nAbility to determine / recognize color coding.\nBasic math and measuring skills.\nMust be a good team player and have the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.\nMinimum Educational Requirements\nHS Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.\nWe believe in transparent and equitable pay.
