Tasks include troubleshooting sub-assembly and final assembly problems, use of hand and portable power tools, light machine operation, calibration, testing and visual inspection.\nMaintain productivity of the group via work assignments and efficient utilization of equipment, materials and labor.\nMaintain a safe workplace.\nSuggest disciplinary/attendance measures needed to address concerns to the plant manager.\nMaintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale and to handle employee complaints with support/guidance of the Plant Manager.\nMaintains employee records.\nMaintain labor and production records as required.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPI’s):\nMaintain average work order cycle time to achieve plant goals\nMaintain on time customer delivery to achieve plant goals\nAchieve RMA return rate and time to complete eval to achieve plant goals\nReduce/manage the number of late IP’s to achieve plant goals\nRequirements\nRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies:\nTwo years of experience or equivalent as a Line Leader in a production environment.\nThorough knowledge of products manufactured at assigned plants and of assembly methods and manufacturing processes. \nMust be capable of maintaining productivity and quality levels as required.\nRequires the ability to plan and achieve production schedules via effective supervision of the employees while operating under the Plant Manager’s guidance.\nPhysical/Mental Essential Functions:\nAbility to count, sort, and distribute\nAbility to input data into computers and departmental systems\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and external personnel\nEffectively communicate in English orally and in writing.\nAbility to identify, communicate, and help prevent potential problems\nAbility to solve practical problems within established parameters\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form\nAbility to deal with time sensitive situations on an ongoing basis\nAbility to follow a set of procedures or set sequences\nAbility to work in a fast pace environment\nMust be efficient with strong attention to detail\nAbility to negotiate, motivate, redirect or convince others\nAbility to make quick accurate decisions with guidance\nAbility to train others\nAbility to supervise hourly employees\nAbility to respond quickly to emergency situations that may arise\nAbility to walk back and forward thought-out facility\nWe believe in transparent and equitable pay.
