Working closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams responsible for ECommerce, ERP, CRM, IT Infrastructure, and more, the Solution Architect will ensure that appropriate designs and architecture are established to drive scale, speed, and value. In addition, where applicable, this individual will lead projects and will serve as an active thought partner and consultant to the business community.\nResponsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nArchitecture Design: Develop and maintain solution architectures that align with business objectives and technology strategies. Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and development teams to gather requirements, understand business challenges, and provide technical expertise.\nTechnology Evaluation: Assess and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance our product offerings and improve internal processes.\nImplementation Oversight: Lead the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.\nIntegration Management: Design and oversee integration of systems, applications, and data across the enterprise to ensure seamless functionality and information flow.\nQuality Assurance: Establish standards and guidelines for solution development, conducting reviews to ensure compliance with architectural principles and practices.\nDocumentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including solution designs, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.\nPerformance Monitoring: Establish metrics and monitoring processes to evaluate solution performance and make necessary adjustments for optimization.\nRequirements\nQualifications and Educational Requirements:\n7 years + of solution architect experience focusing on cross platform ECommerce, ERP, CRM, and Data Analytics solutions\nDeep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Sitecore platforms and Azure, AWS & Vercel cloud environments\nExperience in system integration lifecycle including system design and deployment, systems integration, data migration, business and functional requirements, and data model design.\nDeep understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards\nIn-depth understanding of various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)\nProficiency In at least one development language such as Java, .Net (C#, Visual Basic), PHP or Drupal\nProficiency with various business applications such as ECommerce, ERP, CRM, Service, WMS, etc.\nUnderstanding of Database schema, structures and tools such as SQL, JSON\nUnderstanding of ECommerce Headless Architecture and associated frameworks, React or Angular\nUnderstanding of API’s, Micro-services, RESTful Services middleware such as Boomi, Mulesoft, JMS, Tibco\nUnderstanding modeling techniques, such as unified modeling language, etc.\nFamiliarity with automation and low code no code platforms awareness, such as - SNOW, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Power Apps etc.\nAbility to collaborate with indirect and direct geographically dispersed team members\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area\nEssential/Preferred Skills :\nLean Process Improvement training and/or certification\nExperience with ECommerce (SAP Hybris ECommerce Commerce Cloud) and integrated applications such as (SAP ERP, Infor, Oracle EBS), CRM (ie: Salesforce, Dynamics), Sitecore CMS and overall ECommerce application stack \nWork Conditions and Physical Requirements:\nAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environments. \nAvailability to work outside of core business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required for system upgrades or migrations.\nRequired to sit or stand for long periods of time. \nThe ability to lift 30-50 lbs without assistance. \nLocal and/or international travel will be required as needed (10-15%) including some extended stays on location for education or deployments.
