This role supports production by coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining organized and compliant storage practices.\n________________________________________\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods \nEnsure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines \nMonitor inventory levels and maintain high accuracy through cycle counts and audits \nTrain, mentor, and support warehouse team members to meet performance and safety expectations \nEnforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA standards) \nCollaborate with production, shipping, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations \nIdentify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization \nOperate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scales, pallet jacks) \nMaintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions (5S principles preferred) \nAssist in scheduling and assigning daily tasks to warehouse personnel\nHelp all employees understand policies and procedures and brings issues to supervisor if there are concerns or violations \nMaintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale\nAny other duties assigned by supervisor.\nPerformance Metrics (KPIs):\nInventory Accuracy (%)\nOrder Picking Accuracy\nCycle count accuracy\nOn time material delivery to production\nInventory Adjustments ($ or qty)\nRoot Cause Resolutions Implemented\nTraining\nERP Transaction Accuracy\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED \n2-5 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment \n1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience \nStrong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations \nAbility to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred) \nBasic computer skills (ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office) \nStrong communication and problem-solving skills \nPreferred:\nExperience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices \nFamiliarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) \nOSHA safety training or certification\nPhysical/Mental Essential Functions:\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly \nStanding, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods \nAbility to work in varying temperatures typical of warehouse environments\nWorking Conditions:\nWork environment is very fast paced.
