Working with technologies including Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Intune and Numecent, you will help ensure applications are delivered reliably, securely and consistently to end users.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role, combining established application packaging expertise with modern endpoint management, Windows 11 compatibility and automation.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDISCOVER › PACKAGE › TEST › DEPLOY › SUPPORT › MAINTAIN › RETIRE\nPackage MSI, EXE, MSIX and Win32 applications for deployment across enterprise Windows environments.\nCreate, configure and manage application deployments using SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune and Numecent.\nDevelop and maintain silent installation and uninstall routines, detection methods, dependencies and remediation logic.\nTest applications and troubleshoot packaging, compatibility and deployment issues, including those arising from Windows 11 migration.\nProvide 3rd-line technical support, investigating and resolving complex application packaging and deployment issues.\nManage application upgrades, supersedence, vulnerability remediation and retirement as part of the application lifecycle.\nUse PowerShell scripting and automation to improve packaging quality, efficiency and repeatability.\nMaintain clear and accurate technical documentation, ensuring processes and solutions are properly recorded.\nWork closely with Endpoint Engineering, Infrastructure, Security and Service Management teams to support effective application delivery. \nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Skills & Experience\nHands-on experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.\nExperience with Numecent application delivery.\nStrong application packaging experience across MSI, EXE, MSIX and Win32 formats.\nUnderstanding of application detection methods, requirements and dependencies.\nExperience supporting Windows 10/11 application compatibility, testing and remediation.\nPowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills.\nUnderstanding of application lifecycle management, from packaging and deployment through to upgrades and retirement.\nAbility to produce clear, accurate technical documentation.\nDesirable Experience\nPSAppDeployToolkit.\nFlexera AdminStudio, InstallShield or ORCA.\nMicrosoft Entra ID and Active Directory.\nWindows Autopilot and co-management.\nAzure Virtual Desktop or VDI environments.\nServiceNow and ITIL processes.\nApplication rationalisation.\nExperience supporting large-scale Windows 11 migrations.\nWhat You'll Bring\nYou will be a technically capable and methodical problem solver, comfortable taking ownership of application packaging and deployment activities in a complex enterprise environment.\nYou'll have a proactive approach to investigating and resolving issues, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams and customers.
