As a Bid Manager, you will contribute to deal qualification and shaping, and engage closely with clients. You will play an active role in defining, communicating, and executing the sales strategy and opportunity close plan. Applying DXC’s internal best practices, you will lead and guide the bid team and other stakeholders throughout the pursuit lifecycle, balancing the goal of growing sales with protecting DXC’s business and meeting the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.\nDaily Challenges\nHelp ensure the company can quickly but properly understand, assess, and qualify the sales opportunity Pursuit Management\nSuccessfully manage the pursuit process in compliance with company policies and processes, effectively using the available resources Management of Response Documents\nBuild and lead a coherent pursuit team to achieve common objectives\nSuccessfully manage the process of drafting, reviewing, finalizing, and submitting quality proposal documents to clients\nEffectively engage with potential clients in the sales process\nSuccessfully manage the final stages of the sales process, leading to contract signature and start-up of the service delivery\neX perience and Skills Required\nPossesses a set of hard and soft skills required to build and lead geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined bid teams\nUnderstands business and technical objectives of the customer; can understand and articulate customer problems, objectives, and requirements\nFluent in English, German or Spanish is a bonus\nApply business acumen and commercial awareness, demonstrates strategic thinking\nHas relevant engagement and response experience and applies detailed knowledge of project management and bid management disciplines\nStrong communicator, orally and in writing.
