We empower a personalized experience that enables employees to work seamlessly and securely.\nAbout The Role\nDXC Technology is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer willing to go through a Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil,\nThis role will support a highly secure cloud and network infrastructure environment, focusing on reliability, automation, observability, security, and operational excellence for mission-critical services.\nThe successful candidate MUST reside in the Ottawa area, as work is exclusively onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.\nWhat You'll Do\nMaintain and improve the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services.\nImplement and support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.\nAutomate operational tasks and infrastructure management through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.\nSupport CI/CD processes and deployment automation.\nAssist in the implementation and support of Zero Trust, secure access, and other cybersecurity solutions.\nContribute to capacity planning, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in system performance reviews and reliability engineering activities.\nOther duties may also be assigned.\nWho You Are\nMinimum 6 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.\nThis role requires Security Clearance with the Canadian government. As a result, the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years of verifiable history on Canadian soil.\nStrong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt, or Ansible.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience developing automation using Python, Go, Java, or similar programming languages.\nExperience with monitoring and observability platforms.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience supporting large-scale production environments.\nKnowledge of Zero Trust architectures and secure access technologies is considered an asset.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nWork Environment\nWork is performed onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.\nThis position is at a client site in Ottawa.\nJoining DXC connects you to brilliant people who embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $92,100 - $142,100.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
