JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics datasets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric .
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high - volume, high - dimensional data supporting semantic data models, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases.
- Use SQL, Python , and distributed data processing frameworks to ensure performant, reliable, and reusable data assets.
- Implement and manage analytics -ready data layers consumed by Power BI, and AI solutions .
- Support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms following the migration to Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric .
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Required:
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
- Semantic data modeling concepts.
- Experience building and supporting Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Other Qualifications/Skillsets:
- Databricks : Python, PySpark, or Scala .
- Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, notebooks).
- Microsoft BI ecosystem: Power BI, Analysis Services (Tabular , DAX ).
- Experience with Big Data, distributed processing, and cloud - based data architectures .
- Exposure to AI and Machine Learning use cases , including data preparation for ML/AI models.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops, GitHub , and CI/CD .
