develop, test, and maintain software applications, databases, and reporting solutions that support business operations and decision-making.\n\nDevelop and maintain complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, data transformations, and database objects to support reporting and application requirements.\n\nLead and support the migration of data solutions from SQL Server environments to Databricks, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.\n\nDesign, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models to deliver accurate and actionable business insights.\n\nDevelop advanced DAX measures, calculations, and data models to support complex business reporting requirements.\n\nManage and troubleshoot multiple data connections within Power BI, including SQL databases, Databricks environments, APIs, files, and Power BI semantic models.\n\nMaintain and enhance Power Automate workflows that support data ingestion, reporting automation, file transfers, and business processes.\n\nSupport automated processes such as:\nLoading Power BI data into SQL databases.\n\nTransferring email attachments from shared mailboxes to FTP locations for downstream processing.\n\nMonitoring and resolving workflow failures.\n\nPerform root cause analysis of data discrepancies, identify data quality issues, and implement corrective actions.\n\nCollaborate closely with business stakeholders to investigate reporting issues, define requirements, and develop sustainable solutions.\n\nManage SSL certificate renewals and installations for web applications, services, and supporting infrastructure to ensure security and compliance.\n\nMonitor application and reporting environments, proactively identifying risks, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.\n\nDebug and resolve production issues across applications, databases, reporting platforms, and automation solutions.\n\nParticipate in architecture, design, and code reviews, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices.\n\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.\n\nEmbrace and promote the adoption of AI technologies across reporting, data, automation, and application support processes by continuously evaluating where AI can be applied to improve efficiency, productivity, decision-making, user experience, and business outcomes.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\nTypically 5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, reporting, or application support roles.\n\nStrong expertise in SQL development, query tuning, stored procedures, data modeling, and database design.\n\nExperience with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Power BI, including: Data modeling, DAX measures, Semantic models, Report and dashboard development, Data gateway and connection management\n\nExperience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration solutions.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining Power Automate workflows and process automation solutions.\n\nKnowledge of SSL certificates, certificate lifecycle management, and application security best practices.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues.\n\nAbility to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n\nStrong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of critical business systems.\n\nExperience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) for Agile project delivery, work item management, defect tracking, and release coordination.\n\nDemonstrated interest in AI technologies and a willingness to identify, evaluate, and adopt AI capabilities that enhance business processes, reporting solutions, automation, and software delivery practices.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience migrating data platforms from traditional SQL environments to Databricks or similar cloud-based analytics platforms.\n\nExperience with Azure Data Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, or related Microsoft data technologies.\n\nExperience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and external data sources.\n\nKnowledge of FTP/SFTP integrations, email processing automation, and file-based data ingestion processes.\n\nMicrosoft certifications in Azure, Power BI, Data Engineering, or related technologies.\n\nExperience supporting production business-critical reporting and
