The world’s largest companies and public sector organizations trust DXC to deploy services across the Enterprise Technology Stack to drive new levels of performance, competitiveness, and customer experience.\nLocation: Remote work available\nResponsibilities\nObservability Architecture & Strategy\nDefine and own the end-to-end observability architecture using Dynatrace across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.\n\nDesign scalable, secure, and resilient monitoring and APM architectures aligned with enterprise standards.\n\nEstablish observability best practices, standards, and patterns for applications, infrastructure, networks, and cloud services.\n\nTranslate business and operational requirements into Dynatrace platform design and roadmap\n\n Dynatrace Platform Design & Implementation\nLead the design, deployment, and configuration of Dynatrace (Managed/SaaS) including Cluster, OneAgents, ActiveGate, extensions, and integrations.\n\nArchitect solutions for APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, DEM (RUM & Synthetic), Log Monitoring, and Cloud Observability.\n\nEnsure optimal design for performance, high availability, and scalability of the Dynatrace platform.\n\nDefine data organization standards (tenant, management zone, tagging, etc) and access control.\n\nIntegration & Automation\nDesign and implement integrations with:\nCI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub) - Good to have.\n\nITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)\n\nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nContainers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)\n\nDrive automation of monitoring, alerting, and remediation using Dynatrace APIs, workflows, and SRE practices.\n\nEnable shift-left observability and DevSecOps monitoring use cases.\n\nVendor & Platform Roadmap Management\nAct as the technical liaison with Dynatrace for architecture discussions, escalations, and roadmap alignment.\n\nEvaluate new Dynatrace features and drive adoption of next-generation capabilities.\n\nContribute to platform evolution, upgrades, and long-term observability strategy.\n\nDocumentation & Knowledge Enablement\nProduce and maintain architecture diagrams, standards, runbooks, and design documents.\n\nDefine operating models and handover processes for support teams.\n\nSupport training initiatives and knowledge transfer across teams.\n\nQualifications\nStrong communication and executive level presentation skills.\n\nExtensive experience with Dynatrace implementations.\n\nStrong Applications and Infrastructure system design patterns and solutions knowledge in both traditional and cloud environments.\n\nDynatrace Implementation or Administration professional certification.\n\nCanadian permanent resident or citizen.\n\nYears of Experience: 8-15 years\nLevel of Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred but not necessary.\nOther Competencies\nSolid and verifiable analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nExcellent decision-making skills.\n\nExperience working in on-shore/offshore model.\n\nCompensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $80,100 - $130,100.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
