Learn more on dxc.com\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nYou’ll work within our Cybersecurity team, delivering advisory and consulting services across Federal Government departments. This role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity risk, governance, policy, and compliance within a government context.\nEssential Criteria\n5+ years IT experience, including 2-4 years in Information Security, Risk, Audit or similar\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent demonstrated experience)\n\nStrong knowledge of key security standards: PSPF, ISM, Essential 8, DSPF, ISO 27000, NIST CSF/800 series, CIS\n\nExperience advising internal teams and clients on security and compliance requirements\n\nProven ability to write security policies and procedures aligned to ISM and PSPF\n\nHands-on experience implementing Essential 8 controls\n\nIRAP pre-assessment and certification/accreditation experience\n\nSolid understanding of internet, application, web and network security\n\nExperience with OS security (Windows, Linux, etc.)\n\nStrong background in cybersecurity GRC\n\nKnowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies\n\nSkilled in producing high-quality technical documentation\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nNV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)\n\nDesirable Criteria\nExperience supporting or mentoring a small team of security consultants\n\nAbility to uplift security assurance across government, business and vendor environments\n\nStrong capability in detecting, deterring and responding to cyber threats\n\nTechnical writing capability\n\nIRAP Assessor (desirable but not essential)\n\nWorking toward certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, IRAP, GSEC\n\nOur culture and benefits\nDXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
