Our people, technology and best practices improve and automate highly complex business processes middle and back offices- while facilitating customer experience transformation.\nJob Functions and Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with business analysts to design and document detailed technical specifications. \nParticipate in functional walkthroughs to understand business and processing requirements. \nTranslate business requirements into clear technical specifications, identifying optimal solutions. \nDocument technical specifications comprehensively, ensuring effective communication with the development team. \nIteratively refine and update specifications based on feedback and requirement changes. \nEnsure technical specifications align with project goals and industry best practices. \nDevelop and test efficient technical solutions for new and modified insurance business processes. \nCollaborate with the technical team in programming, development, and unit testing. \nDevelop Unit Test Plans, write and execute Unit Test Cases. \nSupport project teams during testing and defect resolution. \nDrive continuous improvement in the development process, enhancing efficiency and client experience. \nCoach and mentor team members for knowledge transfer and post-project readiness. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project completion. \nEnsure software products meet standards of quality, reliability, and performance. \nProactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues affecting project timelines. \nFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. \nExperience with INGENIUM projects (implementation, upgrade, transformation, enhancement). \nKnowledge of INGENIUM architecture and development. \nDemonstrated practical understanding of INGENIUM product functionality within business processes. \nExperience across the entire INGENIUM project lifecycle (inception to deployment and maintenance). \nAbility to deliver desired business outcomes through INGENIUM and integrated software modifications. \nExperience with various INGENIUM versions (desirable). \nINGENIUM expert-level proficiency (required). \nPathfinder experience (SME or functional level). \nProductXpress working-level experience. \nHands-on experience with Windows, Unix, and AIX operating systems. \nStrong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices. \nProficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies, with strong programming and debugging skills. \nFamiliarity with life insurance products (whole life, term, disability, universal life, wealth, health). \nStrong planning, prioritization, and execution skills. \nExcellent communication and team management skills. \nExperience working within an Agile environment. \nMicrofocus/Mainframe technical experience \nProficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, VSAM, REXX, CICS, and MQ Series. \nCompensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $116,100 - $215,500.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
