SAP MM / EWM / Ariba Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM / EWM / Ariba Consultant to join our global team and support SAP S/4HANA initiatives across procurement, materials management, supplier management, and warehouse processes. The role will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing functional solutions, supporting implementations, and resolving complex business and system issues.

Core Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Procurement processes, including:
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Goods Receipts
  • Invoice Verification
  • Inventory Management
• Strong experience with SAP Ariba, including procurement processes and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Good knowledge of SAP Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Catalogs, and Supplier Management.
• Experience with SAP EWM and integration with SAP MM and Procurement processes.
• Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with Supplier/Vendor Master Data, Source Lists, Approved Vendor Lists, and supplier onboarding.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience with:
  • Release strategies and approval workflows
  • Contract management
  • Procurement catalogs
  • Mass upload processes
  • Supplier management
  • Procurement automation
• Strong integration experience between SAP MM, SAP Ariba, SAP EWM, SAP FI, and other relevant SAP modules/systems.
• Good understanding of warehouse, inventory, and procurement processes and their integration.
• Understanding of procurement best practices, spend management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM, Ariba, and EWM solutions.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Design, configure, and support SAP MM and relevant Ariba/EWM processes.
• Support the integration of SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA, including procurement, supplier, purchasing, and invoice-related processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand procurement, supplier, inventory, and warehouse requirements.
• Participate in blueprinting and solution design activities.
• Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Develop test scenarios, test scripts, user documentation, and help manuals.
• Support integration testing across SAP MM, Ariba, EWM, Finance, and other systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex procurement, supplier, inventory, and warehouse-related issues.
• Support business users during testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes through SAP standard functionality, Ariba capabilities, and best practices.
• Work effectively with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining ownership of assigned deliverables.

Required Experience & Competencies

• 5+ Years of experience in SAP MM / Procurement consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience with SAP Ariba and S/4HANA integration.
• Experience with SAP EWM and MM/EWM integration.
• Experience in large-scale SAP implementations, rollouts, or transformation projects.
• Strong experience in blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, and functional documentation.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate directly with business users and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of procurement, supplier, inventory, and warehouse processes from the client's perspective.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM, Procurement, Ariba, and EWM.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in MM, EWM, Ariba, or S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, or Supplier Management.
• Experience in global SAP rollouts or transformation programs.
• Experience working with international clients and distributed delivery teams.
• Knowledge of procurement analytics, spend analysis, and process optimization.
