successful project delivery.\nDesign and optimize database interactions using SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, stored procedures, and performance-tuning techniques.\nImplement application security measures, including authentication, authorization, data validation, exception handling, logging, and secure API communication.\nIdentify and resolve complex technical issues, troubleshoot application defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve application stability and performance.\nDevelop and maintain automated unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.\nSupport application deployment, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and production release activities.\nWork with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS and containerization tools such as Docker to support scalable application deployment.\nLead or participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nMonitor project progress, manage technical risks and dependencies, and ensure development activities align with project schedules and business priorities.\nPromote collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and continuous improvement across the software engineering team.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to identify opportunities for modernization and improved application delivery.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience\nTypically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineering\nExperience in a managerial role, overseeing teams and/or projects\nProficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies\nStrong programming and debugging skills\nStrong communication and team leadership skills\nAbility to manage software projects and resources effectively\nOther Qualifications:\nAdvanced degree in a related field is a plus\nRelevant certifications or training a plus\nCompensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,500 - $195,900.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
