We’re looking for a Oracle Database Administrator who is motivated, skilled, and eager to contribute to meaningful projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork with developers and users to migrate objects and code between non production databases. \nDesign and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects. \nSet up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.\nPerform database recoveries. \nAssist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning. \nDevelop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc. \nSupport database connectivity from client applications. \nDesign and implement database security schemas. \nProvides direction to less senior DBA’s. Assists associate and intermediate DBAs with complex database tasks. \nPosition will involve the database portion of various projects ranging from the installation of new packaged applications to the development of custom databases for in house developed applications. Project teams will be composed of multi disciplinary teams including business analysts, systems analysts, programmers, and client users. \nCompetent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration. \nHave a good working experience in Oracle Core DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery and Performance tuning exercise \nExperience in Coordinating and working with Clients to understand the business requirement and design the architecture, accordingly, resolve issues if any. Qualifications\nMust have extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS , migration and upgradation to 19c and higher versions. \nMust have extensive knowledge of administering Oracle databases in a UNIX or LINUX environment. \nUNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge is important. \nThorough knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL will be add-on \nKnowledge of logical, physical, and data-warehouse modelling is desired. \nMust have strong team bonding skills \nMust have the ability to think logically and design applications \nExtensive experience performing RDBMS software installation, database creation, database sizing, establishment of backup and recovery procedures and scripts, database performance tuning. Experience \nBachelor’s Degree preferred.
