You’ll be involved in understanding business needs, shaping solutions, configuring SAP and supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.\nYou’ll need to be comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of your area of SAP Finance. We’re particularly interested in people who have experience across the full project lifecycle, from proposal response, solutioning and planning through to mobilisation, implementation and delivery.\nExperience of SAP S/4HANA, including S/4HANA migration programmes, would be particularly valuable.\nDue to the nature of the client environment, eligibility for security clearance is required for this role. To meet the current security requirements, candidates must be sole UK nationals and have lived and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider dual nationals for this position.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou’ll work closely with customers and project teams to understand their business processes and translate their requirements into practical SAP solutions.\nYour role will include:\nGathering and analysing business requirements and understanding how SAP ECC and S/4HANA can support the customer's Finance processes.\nWorking directly with clients to understand their requirements, challenge where appropriate, and validate proposed solutions.\nContributing to the wider SAP solution design, working collaboratively with colleagues across the DXC SAP practice and customer teams to keep projects moving forward. Be prepared to lead on engagements that incorporate a broader functional/technical scope requiring cross team collaboration.\nConfiguring SAP FICO in line with agreed business requirements and translating those requirements into clear functional design specifications.\nUnderstanding the impact of SAP changes on business processes, reporting and user interfaces, and recommending improvements where appropriate.\nSupporting customers with business process changes and improvement initiatives.\nProviding ongoing SAP functional support and working with technical teams and customers to investigate and resolve functional issues.\nContributing to project activities across the full lifecycle, including proposal responses, solutioning, planning, mobilisation and implementation.\nCreating and maintaining clear project and functional documentation, including Requirements Traceability Matrices, Business Process Blueprints, Configuration Documentation, Functional Specifications, Test Scripts and Training Guides.\nSharing your SAP Finance knowledge with colleagues and being open to developing your skills in new areas where customer demand requires it.\nHelping to strengthen the wider DXC SAP practice by bringing your experience, ideas and knowledge to new customer opportunities and solutions.\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe’re looking for someone who combines strong SAP FICO knowledge with a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate and helping customers solve their challenges.\nYou’ll ideally have:\nStrong experience working with SAP Finance/FICO in a consulting or client-facing environment.\nExperience gathering and analysing business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.\nExperience of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, with S/4HANA experience particularly valuable.\nExperience supporting or contributing to S/4HANA migration programmes within your functional area.\nExperience working across the full SAP project lifecycle, from proposal response and solutioning through to planning, mobilisation, implementation and delivery.\nExperience managing and building relationships with client stakeholders.\nExperience supporting business process change and improvement initiatives.\nStrong functional configuration and documentation skills.\nThe confidence to work collaboratively within a project team while also taking ownership of your own area of responsibility including hands on.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical and business matters clearly to different audiences.\nA practical, analytical approach to problem solving and the ability to understand the wider business impact of an SAP issue or change.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and remain effective in a fast-paced project environment.\nWe’re also looking for people who are self-motivated, collaborative and willing to learn.
