This role works closely with HR stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to analyze business processes, recommend solutions, and deliver effective HR system implementations.\nThe consultant leads functional design activities, supports system integrations and data migration, and oversees key implementation phases, including testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support. The role also identifies opportunities to improve HR processes and maximize the value of Dynamics 365 Human Resources.\nEssential Job Functions\nLead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources solutions based on client requirements and business objectives.\nFacilitate requirements-gathering sessions and solution-design workshops with clients and HR stakeholders.\nConduct fit-gap analyses, map HR business processes, and recommend solutions that align with business needs and system capabilities.\nDevelop and maintain functional design documents (FDDs), configuration specifications, process documentation, and other project deliverables.\nConfigure HR functionalities, including employee and personnel management, positions and jobs, compensation, benefits, leave and absence management, performance management, and employee self-service.\nSupport system integration with payroll, time and attendance, identity management, and other relevant enterprise applications.\nCoordinate HR data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.\nLead or support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and deployment activities.\nDeliver user training and support change management activities to facilitate system adoption.\nProvide post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, and contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement.\nMaintain accurate documentation of system configurations, business processes, and functional solutions.\nWork closely with technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.\nProvide functional guidance and knowledge-sharing to team members and contribute to consistent delivery practices.\nStay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources capabilities, product updates, and relevant industry best practices.\nTechnical Knowledge Requirements\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources configuration and functional capabilities.\nUnderstanding of core HR processes, including personnel administration, organizational management, positions and jobs, compensation, benefits, leave and absence, performance management, and employee self-service.\nExperience conducting fit-gap analyses, business-process mapping, requirements gathering, and functional design documentation.\nKnowledge of HR system implementation methodologies, including testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.\nUnderstanding of HR data migration, data validation, and integrations with payroll, time and attendance, and identity management systems.\nAwareness of HR compliance requirements, employee data privacy, and data security principles.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, is an advantage.\nKnowledge of other HR systems, enterprise applications, and integration technologies is a plus.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nTypically, 6 or more years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a similar Dynamics 365 Human Resources consulting or implementation role.\nHands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise HR applications.\nExperience working directly with clients to translate business requirements into functional system solutions.\nDemonstrated experience supporting implementation projects across multiple phases, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment and post-implementation support.\nMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Human Resources Functional Consultant Associate certification is preferred.\nSoft Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language.\nStrong client-facing and consulting skills, including the ability to understand business needs and recommend practical solutions.\nAbility to manage competing priorities, meet project deadlines, and work effectively across multiple workstreams.\nStrong documentation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide functional guidance to colleagues.\nAdaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.\nExperience Requirements\nTypically, 6 or more years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources implementation and support.
