DXC Technology is also widely recognized for its commitment to corporate responsibility and strong citizenship worldwide.\nCurrently, we are looking for aMainframe Senior Support Engineer.\nJob location: Hybrid from Budapest, Hungary.\nDaily challenges\nCollaboration & Relationship Building: Work closely with the Team Technology Lead, Account Support Team, and other support teams.\n\nCustomer Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s business, environment, and support processes.\n\nIncident Management: Follow ITIL standards, proactively addressing service issues.\n\nDocumentation: Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.\n\nQuality & Compliance: Participate in quality and productivity projects, ensuring process compliance.\n\nTechnical Support & Training: Provide technical consultation, training, and lead workshops. Keep up with mandatory training requirements.\n\nTroubleshooting & Problem Management: Conduct deep-level troubleshooting, participate in Root Cause Analysis, and manage problem lifecycles.\n\nChange & Configuration Management: Implement and plan changes, participate in advisory boards, and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB).\n\nProject Management: Implement technical projects related to the responsible platform/technology.\n\nExperience and skills required\nPrimary requirement - Expertise in any of Mainframe areas: z/OS System Programming; CICS; DB2; Network; Storage; Automation.\n\nMinimum of 5+ years hands-on Mainframe experience on a senior level\n\nDegree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems.\n\nPreferably 10+ years experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support\n\nExcellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes\n\nFluent in English language\nIf you feel comfortable with the above-mentioned requirements, please send us your CV in English.\nPlease note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.\nDXC Technology stands for equal opportunities, namely, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
