As a functional SAP rollout consultant, you will deploy a global template to regional locations, lead Fit-to-Template activities, support data preparation and migration, execute testing, work with local key users, and assist with cutover and Hypercare. The assignment requires strong functional expertise, effective stakeholder communication, and the confidence to protect the global template while addressing justified local business needs. Rollouts typically last 6 to 12 months, with travel currently expected to be up to 40%.\nDaily challenges\nDriving template adoption - Challenge local business requirements and align users to the global SAP template rather than custom solutions.\nLearning new sites quickly - Rapidly understand each plant's products, organization, processes, data and interfaces before Fit-to-Template workshops.\nManaging data quality and migration - Support data cleansing, mapping, validation and migration activities while ensuring high data accuracy.\nResolving cross-functional integration issues - Coordinate solutions across multiple SAP streams and interfaces to ensure end-to-end process continuity.\nSupporting intensive testing cycles - Execute functional testing and help key users identify, document and resolve defects during SIT and UAT\nEnsuring successful cutover and go-live - Support migration validation, issue resolution and Hypercare activities during critical deployment periods.\nCoordinating global stakeholders - Work daily with rollout teams, key users, core team experts and offshore resources across multiple countries and time zones.\neXperience and skills required\nAt least 5 years of SAP project experience with in-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management (Organization structure, Master Data, Direct & Indirect Procurement, Inventory Management, Pricing, Account determination, Workflows)\nIn depth knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management / Stock Room Management (Organization structure, Master Data, Inbound, Outbound, Internal processes)\nVery good process understanding for internal business processes in the areas of warehouse management and integration to other core SAP modules.\nStrong knowledge of IDOCs for orders, ASNs, receipts and dispatches are must.\nVery good process understanding for internal business processes in the areas of purchasing and integration to other core SAP modules.\nExperience in at least 2 SAP E2E implementations over the entire life cycle.\nExperience at least 2 SAP S/4HANA rollouts with experience in conducting Fit to template / explore phases.\nProviding sound solutions in the S/4HANA environment based on the customer’s specific business requirements.\nExperience with data migration concepts using standard SAP toolsets for Controlling master data and transaction objects.\nGood communication and assertiveness as the consultant will play the role of ‘Template Defender’.\nWillingness to travel (Min 50%. 10-12 weeks of travel over 6-9months of rollout duration)\nGerman will be considered as an advantage\nCompany benefits\nAt DXC Technology, we don’t just offer jobs - we build careers.
