This role requires deep technical expertise, strong development background, and the ability to lead customer discussions, and drive delivery excellence across the ServiceNow platform.\nThe individual will act as the technical authority, ensuring best practices, platform stability, performance, and scalable solutions while aligning business needs with ServiceNow capabilities.\nAct as the overall technical owner for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements\n\nDefine technical & development guidelines\n\nReview and approve technical scripts, and configurations\n\nEnsure platform performance, security, scalability, and upgrade readiness\n\nDrive adherence to ServiceNow best practices and OOTB-first approach\n\nHands-on development using: Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scheduled Jobs, Service Catalog, Order Guides, Workflows\n\nLead complex customizations while minimizing technical debt\n\nHandle advanced troubleshooting, performance bottlenecks, and production issues\n\nSupport data loads, transformations, and data validation strategies\n\nLead customer technical discussions, design workshops, and solution walkthroughs\n\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs\n\nProvide clear technical guidance to customers and set realistic expectations\n\nAct as the escalation point for critical issues, hyper care, and go-live support\n\nReview code and enforce coding standards and quality gates\n\nGuide team members on design decisions and problem-solving\n\nWork closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Product Owners\n\nEnsure timely delivery aligned with scope, quality, and performance benchmarks\n\nParticipate in change, incident, and defect triage discussions\n\nExperience & Qualifications:\nCertifications\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA (Mandatory)\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer CAD (Mandatory)\nCertified Implementation Specialist - IT Operations Management (ITOM)\n\nExperience\n5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development\nExposure to enterprise-scale ServiceNow programs\nStrong hands-on experience with: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Request\nDeep scripting knowledge: JavaScript, Glide APIs, server-side & client-side scripting\nIntegration using REST, SOAP, MID Server\nPerformance tuning, ACLs, security best practices\nAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
