We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. #DXCSMARTFirst\nAs a Software Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring enterprise-wide software compliance, optimizing licensing costs, and managing the full lifecycle of software assets across a large, complex IT estate. You will administer leading SAM tools, drive governance and compliance reporting, and partner closely with stakeholders to support strategic planning and continuous improvement across SAM operations.\nThis role offers the opportunity to directly influence risk mitigation, cost optimization, and operational excellence for some of the world's largest enterprises, while contributing to broader modernization and transformation initiatives within DXC's Global Infrastructure Services organization.\nEssential Job Functions\nManage software licensing, compliance, entitlement, and renewal processes across the enterprise\nOversee software audit management activities to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risk\nAdminister and utilize SAM tools such as Flexera, HP Asset Manager (HPAM), ServiceNow SAM Pro, or Snow Software\nOversee software inventory and lifecycle management across the IT estate\nDrive asset governance initiatives and produce compliance reporting for stakeholders\nOversee tool implementation, migration, and transformation projects related to SAM platforms\nDevelop dashboards, metrics, and reporting to track software compliance and asset performance\nIdentify and implement process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives within SAM operations\nManage software compliance risk and support enterprise risk management efforts\nCommunicate and collaborate with stakeholders, providing oversight and strategic planning for SAM initiatives\nBasic Qualifications\n3+ years of Software Asset Management experience preferred\nExperience overseeing SAM initiatives\nExperience within large, complex enterprise IT environments\nExperience with Software Asset Management (SAM) and/or IT Asset Management (ITAM)\nExperience with software licensing, compliance, entitlement, renewal, and audit management\nExperience with SAM tools such as Flexera, HP Asset Manager (HPAM), ServiceNow SAM Pro, Snow Software, or equivalent platforms\nExperience with software inventory and lifecycle management\nExperience with asset governance and compliance reporting\nExperience with tool implementation, migration, and transformation projects\nExperience with dashboard, metrics, and reporting development\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills\nMay require the ability to obtain a security clearance\nOther Qualifications\nFlexera implementation, administration, or migration experience is an advantage\nWhy DXC? / Life at DXC\nDXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
