We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. #DXCSMARTFirst\nRole Summary\nDXC Technology is seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to support enterprise-wide software asset governance, licensing compliance, and asset lifecycle management initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage software assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, utilization, renewal, and retirement.\nAdminister and maintain Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and controls.\nEnsure compliance with software licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and audit requirements.\nConduct software entitlement reviews, license reconciliations, and compliance assessments.\nSupport software audits and vendor engagements, ensuring audit readiness at all times.\nDevelop and maintain software inventory, asset repositories, and governance documentation.\nGenerate dashboards, metrics, compliance reports, and management insights to support decision-making.\nCollaborate with stakeholders across IT, procurement, finance, and vendor management teams.\nLead or support SAM tool implementations, migrations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.\nAssess risks related to software licensing and compliance and recommend mitigation strategies.\nDrive software governance practices and ensure alignment with organizational standards.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nMinimum of 3+ years of strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) and/or IT Asset Management (ITAM).\nKnowledge of software licensing models, compliance requirements, entitlement management, renewals, and software audits.\nExperience with one or more of the following SAM tools: \nFlexera (preferred), ServiceNow SAM Pro, HP Asset Manager (HPAM), Snow Software, Equivalent SAM platforms\nStrong understanding of software inventory and lifecycle management processes.\nExperience in reporting, dashboard creation, and compliance metrics development.\nFamiliarity with software governance frameworks and risk management practices.\nFlexera implementation, administration, migration, or optimization experience is highly desirable.\nExperience working with global stakeholders and enterprise software vendors is an advantage.\nWhat awaits you in DXC:\nHealth Insurance (HMO) for you and dependents upon hiring \nLife Insurance coverage from day 1 of employment \n15 - 20 Days’ Vacation and 15 Days Sick Leave \nExpanded maternity leave up to 120 days and Maternity Benefits \nExpanded paternity leave up to 30 days \nNon-Taxable Allowance (De-minimis) \nCompany-sponsored trainings upskilling, and certification \nSMART First Working Arrangements \nHealthy and Encouraging Work Environment \nRecognition and Pay for Performance Culture \nSupplemental Pay (Standby/Shift) \nRetirement Program \nEmployee Assistance Program \n\nIf you are motivated to deliver excellent results, want to grow your career and make a difference, come join us. \nWe are DXC.\nAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
