Your success is our success.\nAbout the Role\nAs our new Technology Developer, you’ll join our small but growing team of technology developers who play a critical role in our continued success in the marketplace. As a 3PL company, we manage the transportation and warehousing for our customers in our Salesforce platform. Your role will entail developing technology and data solutions in various environments, including Salesforce, Power BI, Heroku, Boomi and Tableau; all with the aim to (i) improve the day-to-day customer experience, (ii) improve data visibility and user experience for our team, and (iii) develop novel tools and processes that will continue to differentiate us as a leading 3PL company.\nWhat you will do, day to day:\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data + software requirements, specifications, and user stories \nConduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to ensure quality and reliability \nAssist in evaluating third-party technologies, tools, and services for potential integration; ensuring we are always innovating \nLeverage data to analyze sales and operational metrics to build useful dashboards for the respective departments \nDevelop process automation tools and revise existing automations to continuously improve \nLearn and stay up to date on developments within the Salesforce ecosystem, become a SME on this tool \nBonus Points if you have:\nSalesforce is an asset but not required; we will provide training so come ready to learn! \nPower BI or Dax experience is an asset \nTableau exposure or knowledge is another nice to have! \nYou have experience with data and enjoy solving unique business problems leveraging that data \nExperience in the logistics or transportation industry \nTo be successful in this role, you bring:\nBS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related years of experience and technical skills \nExperience with Object-Oriented programming (Salesforce Apex, Java, etc.) \nExperience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL \nDetail-oriented, you catch errors and discrepancies…better yet, you find them before they become mistakes! \nSelf-starting and resourceful; you are also curious and like to learn new things \nDemonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly \nStrong problem-solving capabilities and able to independently think through a challenge \nStrong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status (e.g., project phase, issues/roadblocks, go-live dates, etc.) \nOur pledge to you and what we offer:\nThis is a full-time permanent position \nThis job can be fully remote, in-office, or hybrid based on your preference \nYour starting salary will range between $50,000-$55,000 per year depending on your qualifications, with plenty of opportunities to increase your earnings as you learn and grow with the company \nWe offer a competitive benefits package; you will receive laptop computer and other hardware to assist your day to day work \nWe believe deeply in your success.
