Our Gleeble systems enable researchers and engineers to characterize material behavior under precisely controlled temperature and strain conditions, serving critical applications in aerospace, defense, energy, manufacturing, and advanced materials development.\nThis role is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, supporting sales growth, and contributing to the success of a collaborative team.\nYou will play a key role in expanding DSI's customer base, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technology, opportunities for career growth, and the chance to work closely with marketing, technical sales, and global partners to help DSI maintain its leadership in sensing technology.\nResponsibilities:\nExecute inside sales prospecting by researching and contacting potential customers to introduce Gleeble solutions, supporting the Technical Sales team with qualified leads and sales presentations.\nMaintain and update CRM records, documenting prospects, communications, and sales activities to ensure accurate pipeline management.\nEngage with existing customers to gather feedback and identify aftermarket sales opportunities, collaborating closely with the aftermarket sales team.\nManage the sales process end-to-end with the sales team, keeping opportunities moving through the pipeline and identifying areas for process improvement.\nSupport the planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, webinars, and product demonstrations, including preparation and follow-up activities.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.\n3-5 years of sales experience, including prospecting using go-to-market platforms such as ZoomInfo.\nUnderstanding of metallurgical concepts and the ability to communicate the Gleeble value proposition; engineering academic background preferred.\nStrong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with initiative, patience, and a positive, can-do attitude.\nExcellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.\nWell-organized, detail-oriented, and able to adhere to schedules and procedures.\nBenefits\n Base Salary: $72,000 - $78,000\nCompany Sponsored Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, health saving account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA)\nSupplemental Benefits: critical illness, accidental injury, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection and legal insurance\nCompany Retirement Plan: 401(k) Plan (Roth options) with 4% employer match (Employee/Employer Contributions 100% vested upon hire)\nPaid vacation and holidays\nThe estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time.
