Our equipment is in high demand, and we are therefore expanding our team with an experienced and multi-skilled Software & Embedded Engineer who can help us bring precision and reliability to every road project.\nYour work at Dynatest\nBased at our headquarter in Ballerup, you will join our growing software team, reporting to the Software Manager. You will work across the full stack-from embedded processors and PLCs, signal processing, communication protocols, and computer vision to higher-level software applications that interact with our machines. You will help define technical solutions and estimates for new hardware and software implementations, develop test procedures and specifications, and provide technical guidance to ensure robust, reliable, and maintainable solutions. The role also includes participation in customer-specific tasks to assess feasibility, identify optimal solutions, estimate costs and implementation effort, and report recommendations to the Software Manager.\nAs our Software & Embedded Engineer your assignments would be:\nDevelop and maintain embedded firmware, PLC software, and supporting applications for pavement testing equipment and related systems\nDesign and optimize software architectures, communication interfaces, and existing codebases to ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability\nPlan, execute, and document testing, validation activities, and software releases to ensure solutions meet technical and quality requirements\nMaintain clear and structured technical documentation covering software design, system changes, engineering decisions, and test results\nSupport customer projects through technical clarification, feasibility assessments, solution development, and technical recommendations\nCollaborate across functions while contributing to engineering standards, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives\nProfessional qualifications\nEngineering degree in Automation, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics, or similar\n3+ years of professional experience in software and embedded development\nExperience with several of the following: C, C++, C#, Structured Text (IEC 61131-3), VBA, communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, CAN, Modbus), signal processing, computer vision, Git and Jira (or similar)\nSolid problem-solving skills and an analytical, structured approach\nExperience with embedded processors and PLCs; familiarity with industrial sensors/actuators is an advantage\nProficient in English\nPersonal qualifications\nYou are independent, self-driven, and take professional pride in your work.
