This is primarily a frontend-heavy role you will spend most of your time deep in React, component architecture, and the widgets and apps that customers and agents actually touch backed by solid Node.js skills to design and own the services those frontends depend on.\n\nYou will work in a small, autonomous product team alongside QA and a product owner, shipping features that go to production frequently. This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership of design decisions, not a ticket-execution role.\n\nRole & responsibilities :\n\n- Design, build, and ship complex React UIs component libraries, embeddable widgets, and full applicationswith an eye for performance, accessibility, and reuse.\n\n- Build and maintain embeddable, CDN-distributed widgets (ESM/IIFE) consumed by third-party or partner-facing pages.\n\n- Work with micro-frontend patterns (Module Federation), where a product area is composed of independently built and deployed pieces.\n\n- Author and publish internal npm component and data-provider libraries, with Storybook-driven development so components stay documented and reusable across teams.\n\n- Design and build the Node.js services your features depend on (Express/Nest/Fastify, or Next.js API routes for lighter cases)auth, data access, integration with external APIsowned end to end: design, implementation, tests, shipping it.\n\n- Contribute to architecture discussions and help set technical direction, especially on the frontend/widget side.\n\n- Review peers' code with substance, and raise the quality bar on testing, observability, and maintainability.\n\n- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, and work with product/QA to break requirements into deliverable increments, flagging risk early.\n\nPreferred candidate profile :\n\n- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with deep, demonstrable expertise in React.\n\n- React: strong command of hooks, component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and micro-frontend patterns.\n\n- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentalsasync patterns, module design, error handling, performance.\n\n- Experience shipping embeddable widgets or component libraries consumed outside your own app.\n\n- Comfortable across UI ecosystems (shadcn/Radix, MUI, Mantine, or similar) and component-driven development with Storybook.\n\n- Solid Node.js proficiencycomfortable designing and building a real service (Express/Nest/Fastify).\n\n- Working database skillscan design a reasonable schema and write efficient queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).\n\n- Working exposure to Docker/containers, message queues or event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and basic observability tooling.\n\n- Practical testing habits, Git-based workflows, code review, and CI/CD.\n\n- Clear written and spoken English, and comfort working with distributed teams across time zones.\n\nNice to have :\n\n- Experience with Nx or similar monorepo tooling for managing multiple apps/widgets/libraries together.\n\n- Travel domain experienceGDS, NDC, or supplier/aggregator integrations.\n\n- Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub
