The team is arranged into investment areas including Commercial & Connectivity, Retail, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Product Development - and many others.
About The Role
Business analysts identify, define and document business processes and software requirements to be developed as software. They are the liaison between business and IT teams, facilitating communication and determining business needs. The Business Analysts will therefore have the following responsibilities:
- Business Analysis
- Deliver analysis activities with clearly defined outcomes, including:
- Executing interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Breaking down complex business problems into manageable components (e.g., Epics, User Stories, Business Requirements, Non-functional requirements)
- Develop process maps and business models to enhance clarity and efficiency
- Support the full project lifecycle with any development, testing or business change needs
- Continuously review and assess the project delivery to ensure it will meet business requirements
- Act as an internal consultant to stakeholders
- Active engagement within the BA community, acting as a role model to Interns, Graduates, Associates and peers
- Deliver analysis activities with clearly defined outcomes, including:
- Training & User Adoption
- Develop training materials, user guides, and process documentation to support end-user adoption
- Supporting training sessions and workshops to familiarise users with new processes, workflows, and system functionality.
- Serve as a point of contact for post-go-live support, addressing user queries and identifying opportunities for system enhancements
- Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working
- Be an advocate for evolving standards and practices around ways of working
- Drive continuous improvement within scrum or project teams through active participation in all ceremonies and meetings
- Balance and prioritise workload, escalating conflicting demands where necessary
- Contribute to risk management through raising, reviewing, monitoring and supporting their mitigation
About You
Education & Experience
Some years (>2) of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, and within the eCommerce, Customer Relationship Management or Retail domain
- Exposure to Commercial IT platforms such as Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEM, SAP Hybris or POS platforms would be an advantage
- Experience in the execution of an implementation methodology including Waterfall, Agile and Scrum practices
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and process analysis
- Professional qualifications within Business Analysis or a similar role would be an added benefit
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, as well as challenge and influence at all levels
- Self-driven with the ability to learn new skills and deliver under pressure
- Can achieve excellent results without supervision
