Working closely with Product Development stakeholders, Data Engineering, Portfolio Systems and analytics colleagues, the role transforms business data into reporting, analysis and management information that support governance, operational performance and business decision-making.\nThe role contributes to the continuous improvement of Product Development reporting, analytics and insight capabilities through high-quality reporting, analytical rigour and stakeholder-focused decision support.\nAccountabilities\nReporting & Dashboard Development\nDevelop and maintain reporting, dashboard and analytical solutions supporting Product Development governance, planning and decision-making.\nCreate reporting outputs, performance measures and management information aligned to business requirements.\nSupport implementation of reporting standards, KPI definitions and measurement approaches.\nEnsure reporting outputs remain accurate, trusted and relevant to stakeholder needs.\nContribute to continuous improvement of reporting capabilities and services.\nData Analysis & Insight Generation\nAnalyse data to support reporting, trend identification and performance monitoring activities.\nSupport development of reporting outputs and analytical findings for stakeholder review.\nSupport production of executive reporting content, management information and business performance reporting.\nSupport analytical activities and reporting enhancements as required.\nPresent analytical findings in a clear and accessible manner.\nKPI & Performance Reporting\nMaintain KPI reporting and performance measurement outputs.\nValidate reporting outputs, calculations and data accuracy.\nSupport monitoring of portfolio, delivery, resource and organisational performance metrics.\nAssist development of governance reporting and leadership reporting outputs.\nSupport adoption and effective use of reporting and dashboard capabilities.\nAnalytical Quality & Data Assurance\nApply analytical methods, reporting standards and quality assurance practices across reporting outputs.\nWork closely with Data Engineering & Information Architecture teams to ensure reporting data is accurate and suitable for analytical use.\nIdentify and resolve data quality issues affecting reporting and analytics.\nContribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes and reporting approaches.\nStakeholder Support & Business Partnership\nBuild effective relationships across Product Development, DDIO, Portfolio Systems, Data Engineering and associated business functions.\nSupport stakeholder reporting, analytics and insight requirements.\nSupport collection of reporting requirements and stakeholder feedback.\nCommunicate reporting outputs and analytical findings clearly and effectively.\nPromote adoption and effective use of reporting and analytical capabilities.\nContinuous Improvement & Capability Development\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics and insight capabilities.\nSupport implementation of new reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical products.\nContribute to standardisation, consistency and reuse across reporting and analytical activities.\nMaintain awareness of emerging reporting, analytical and visualisation approaches.\nShare knowledge and best practice across the analytics community.\nAbout you\nProfessional experience\nExperience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence or analytical roles.\nExperience developing dashboards, KPI reporting and management information solutions.\nExperience analysing datasets and developing reporting outputs to support business activities.\nExperience using reporting, visualisation and business intelligence technologies.\nExperience supporting governance, planning, portfolio management or operational reporting activities.\nExperience supporting reporting, dashboard development or analytical activities.\nExperience working with data, reporting tools or business intelligence platforms.\nUnderstanding of Product Development, Portfolio Management, Resource Management or Engineering environments.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capability.\nCritical leadership competencies\nAnalytical Delivery: Produces accurate, reliable and business-relevant reporting and analytical outputs.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Works effectively with technical and business stakeholders.\nSystems Thinking: Understands relationships between reporting, data and business processes.\nQuality Focus: Applies analytical standards and quality controls consistently.\nContinuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to improve reporting and analytical outputs.\nLearning Agility: Develops analytical, reporting and business intelligence expertise\nCapability-Specific Competency\nReporting & Analytics Delivery: Produces reporting, analytical and dashboard outputs that support governance, monitoring and decision-making across Product Development.\nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
