This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding across business functions from Subject Matter Experts, while growing within the Data Analytics space.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Data Specialist, you will work in multi-disciplinary squads delivering data products and solutions.\nSupport Product Managers in facilitating discovery sessions and gathering business requirements.\nDocument data and process flows, while identifying opportunities for improvement.\nIdentify data sources and enhance data collection to reduce manual processes.\nAnalyse and visualize data from various sources to support data-driven decision making.\nMonitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used in analytics and reporting.\nWriting clear user stories and acceptance criteria for product delivery.\nIdentify opportunities for process automation and simplifying data flows.\nAdvocate for process improvements and Agile ways of working across teams.\nRespond to data requests and provide analytical support to business teams as needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related STEM field.\nMinimum of 2 years of proven experience in the domain of data analytics.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills\nEffective communication and stakeholder management abilities\nProven experience with Tableau for analytics and data visualisation.\nHands-on experience with SQL, Python or PySpark.\nGood understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data governance concepts.\nExperience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google.\nFamiliarity with project management tools, ie Jira & Confluence.\n• Knowledge in Power Platform is a significant plus but not mandatory.\nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
