Working closely with solution architects, analysts, technical specialists and business stakeholders, the role contributes to the development and continuous improvement of Product Development portfolio systems and digital solutions.\nThe role supports delivery of platform enhancements, workflow automation, reporting capabilities and user-focused solutions across Control Tower, Project Hub, Planning Hub, Executive Reporting and associated Product Development digital platforms. The role provides an opportunity to develop broad technical expertise across Portfolio Systems, low-code technologies, automation and platform development disciplines.\nAbout the role\nPortfolio Systems Development\nDevelop and maintain platform components, workflows and digital solutions supporting Product Development processes.\n\nSupport implementation of approved platform enhancements and capability improvements.\n\nConfigure and maintain low-code platform solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.\n\nContribute to development of reusable solution components and automation capabilities.\n\nDevelop solutions in accordance with agreed architecture principles, design standards and technical patterns. This aligns to the architecture governance model established by the Principal / Associate Principal Solution Architect role.\n\nWorkflow Automation & Digital Solutions\nSupport creation and maintenance of workflow automation capabilities.\n\nAssist with digitisation of Product Development business processes.\n\nContribute to implementation of low-code and automation solutions.\n\nSupport improvement of operational efficiency through automation and standardisation.\n\nParticipate in evaluation and adoption of new platform capabilities where appropriate.\n\nReporting & Dashboard Development\nSupport development of portfolio reporting components, dashboards and visualisation capabilities.\n\nAssist with implementation of executive reporting enhancements within Portfolio Systems.\n\nSupport reporting automation and reporting process improvements.\n\nContribute to maintenance and enhancement of reporting solutions.\n\nWork with analytics and reporting stakeholders to support delivery of agreed reporting requirements.\n\nTesting, Support & Continuous Improvement\nSupport testing, validation and deployment of platform enhancements.\n\nInvestigate and resolve platform issues, defects and user support requests.\n\nAssist with technical documentation and knowledge management activities.\n\nSupport platform operational continuity and service performance activities.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve platform usability, supportability and technical quality.\n\nPlatform Integration & Technical Collaboration\nSupport implementation and maintenance of integrations between Portfolio Systems and connected platforms.\n\nWork closely with architects, analysts and technical specialists to deliver platform capabilities.\n\nAssist with technical analysis of information flows, data structures and integration requirements.\n\nSupport delivery of controlled, reliable and maintainable platform solutions.\n\nContribute to technical discussions, planning and problem-solving activities.\n\nAbout you\nProfessional experience\nExperience developing, configuring or supporting digital platforms, business systems or technology solutions.\n\nExperience working with Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate or Power BI is desirable.\n\nExperience supporting workflow automation, reporting or business application development activities.\n\nExperience working with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.\n\nExperience supporting testing, deployment or application support activities.\n\nUnderstanding of Product Development, Portfolio Management, Resource Management or Engineering environments is desirable.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability.\n\nDemonstrated willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.\n\nCritical leadership competencies\nTechnical Excellence: Develops reliable, scalable and maintainable Power Platform solutions that deliver business value.\n\nDelivery Focus: Supports successful delivery of platform enhancements and technical outcomes.\n\nSystems Thinking: Understands relationships between applications, automations, integrations and business processes.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to improve solutions, processes and user experience.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration: Works effectively with technical and business stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.\n\nLearning Agility: Continuously develops expertise across Power Platform technologies and digital capabilities.\n\nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
