We are competent and passionate about work - highly resilient to challenges.\nAbout The Role\nThe Financial Controller Analyst will be responsible for:\nSupport to compiling regular financial reports (incl.: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow) required by business executives.\nEnsure Dyson financials are prepared in line with application of accounting policies and guidelines.\nCalculate and process Manual Journal Entries on the monthly basis. Perform accurate and timely period end close activities for the Markets assigned.\nPrepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations in line with deadlines, drive the resolution for the aged/unexplained items.\nSupport the preparation of monthly cash flow forecast in line with Group guidance and in line with deadlines.\nSupport the preparation of annual Statutory Accounts and Tax submission.\nSupport the year end activities.\nSupport the internal and external audit process.\nPerform internal controls activities to ensure compliance.\nProvide data analysis and explanation for the month end for both P&L and BS meetings.\nEstablish understanding of performance drivers for the month and follow up as required, investigating all variances and issues.\nEnsure knowledge of markets both from a control and commercial stand point are maintained.\nOversees all accounting functions and streamline the teams to escalate all important operational and financial risks.\nBe Business Partner for Market, Group Finance, Group Treasury, Group Tax, Global Process Owners and DBS Functions. Drive collaboration to achieve operational excellence.\nFulfil any other ad hoc responsibilities as directed by the Financial Control Manager.\nDrive the improvements and participate in the projects according to the assignment by the Financial Control Manager.\nThe Financial Controller is expected on HOW:\nAccounting expertise and independency in the resolution of issues, providing solutions proposal,\nPresenting pro can do attitude and improvement mindset,\nBeing Team Player\nBeing Agile and Change Driver\nBeing cooperative in the multicultural environment\nundefined\nExperience/Qualifications\nUniversity degree (Business / Finance / Economy / Management)\n2 - 5 years’ experience in the area of VAT/GST compliance, tax reporting, or finance operations.\nStrong understanding of indirect tax requirements and financial controls.\nExperience working with SAP and Excel; tax systems knowledge is an advantage.\nAbility to investigate and resolve VAT discrepancies and filing issues.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling tax data and deadlines.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProactive, organized, and continuous improvement mindset.\nFluent in English; Mandarin preferred for Greater China support.\nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
