This role is key in supporting optimal inventory levels. Key priorities include: managing the inventory controls team, working with third party logistics providers (3PL) to manage the inventory reconciliation process, supporting month-end-close process, defining the overall strategy, and setting standards of physical inventory audits.\nKey responsibilities include:\nOversee transaction recording for all inventory movements.\n\nEnsure inventory levels in SAP are accurate by identifying, researching, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies.\n\nSupport the month-end-close process by completing various inventory reports and analyses.\n\nCollaborate cross functionally to identify, evaluate, and implement initiatives.\n\nProvide internal and external auditors with all required documentation.\n\nManage the retailer return process. Ensure credits are issued accurately and timely.\n\nGuide the team in analyzing and researching issues to ensure quick resolution.\n\nAnalyze returns to identify trends/issues, evaluate the data and issue reporting to senior leadership.\n\nEstablish, maintain, and manage inventory movement processes with third party logistics providers.\n\nManage relationships with 3PL warehouses across the Americas, while developing and driving best practices in warehouses.\n\nSupport refurbishment operations via inventory transaction management, process improvement and engaged partnership\n\nEffectively communicate expectations and needs to maintain accurate inventory levels.\n\nDetermine proper processes for non-standard transactions, clearly defining and communicating requirements.\n\nOwn the annual physical inventory count, including developing work instructions, analyzing results, and reporting to senior leadership, per Dyson’s internal policies.\n\nStrategically lead the inventory function and drive continuous improvement.\n\nDemonstrate strong reporting and analytical skills, including publishing a monthly dashboard of Inventory KPI’s to senior leadership.\n\nWork with system teams to modify and advance SAP functionality, minimizing manual interventions.\n\nRMS language here\n\nBe adaptable and relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.\n\nSupport Supply Chain special projects, such as RFP’s, warehouse moves, retail specific kitting projects, etc.\n\nBe a detail oriented, analytical thinker who can thrive in a fast paced environment.\n\nInspire, actively manage, and lead the inventory team.\n\nAbout you\n7+ years of experience in inventory experience.\n\n5+ years of experience in a CPG company.\n\n2+ years of supervisory experience.\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, operations management, or supply chain or similar required.\n\nExperience in SAP.\n\nPrior experience in month-end-close.\n\nStrong working knowledge of Supply Chain processes.\n\nStrong communication skills to effectively liaise with 3PLs, Managed Services and other external partners.\n\nSolutions oriented individual who can provide solutions to minimize impact and deliver results.\n\nAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nUnderstanding of the end-to-end product flow inside a warehouse.\n\nAbility to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.\n\nDemonstrate strong follow-through capabilities.\n\nStrong leadership and communication skills with all levels of the organization.\n\nSense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines .\n\nAddress: 1330 W Fulton Market Fl 5, Chicago, IL 60607\nCompensation: $109,600 - $137,000 annually + bonus opportunity\nBenefits\nAt Dyson, how we reward you is linked to our high-performance culture.
