Additionally, you will assist in enhancing data quality and reliability and support improvements in data lineage and governance.\nKey Competencies\n5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or related fields\n\nExperience working in and supporting data engineering teams\n\nAbility to contribute to data engineering projects through different stages of delivery\n\nSkilled in designing and optimizing data pipelines and data solutions\n\nProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, DBT)\n\nExperience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD and DataOps practices\n\nStrategic Leadership and Influence\nAs a Senior Data Engineer at Dyson, you will play a pivotal role in steering data engineering initiatives and influencing the direction of data-driven projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to prioritise projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. By fostering a culture of clear documentation, good practices and efficient workflows, you support the team’s continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving technologies. Your leadership will help maintain high standards for data quality, reliability, and governance within a global environment.\nTechnical Proficiencies\nYou bring over five years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with a proven ability to contribute across all stages of project delivery. You are skilled in designing and optimising data pipelines and analytics solutions, and have hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and DBT. Your experience spans at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, GCP, or Azure, and you are familiar with CI/CD and DataOps practices.
