Acting as the key connector between factories, customers, and material suppliers, you’ll shape how quality is delivered end-to-end-from raw materials to finished motors in the field.\nYou’ll be empowered to champion the voice of the customer, lead complex quality investigations, and drive meaningful, long-term improvements across the supply chain. Be the Voice of Quality & the Customer\nAct as the primary quality interface between factories, customers, and suppliers\n\nLead Voice of Customer (VoC) 8D investigations from issue identification to closure\n\nManage RMAs and corrective actions to ensure timely, effective resolution\n\nPresent customer quality performance and insights to stakeholders\n\n2. Drive Operational and Supplier Excellence\nEnsure motor specifications and quality standards are consistently achieved\n\nOwn raw material and supplier-related quality issues, working directly with suppliers to resolve root causes\n\nConduct on-site quality verifications at contract manufacturer locations where needed\n\nDrive continual improvement initiatives to reduce PPM defect rates\n\n3. Strengthen Systems, Processes & Governance\nOversee end-to-end RMA workflows with contract manufacturers\n\nMaintain accurate QA records, QSI, CoC, and SAP (DDM Motors) data integrity\n\nCreate, update, and standardize Operating Procedures and Work Instructions\n\nBuild scalable quality practices that support long-term growth\n\nAbout you\nThis role is designed to groom you within the quality team - offering mentorship, cross-functional exposure, and increasing scope of responsibility to prepare high performers for career progression within the organisation.\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline\n\nSolid experience in quality engineering, ideally within motor or electronics manufacturing\n\nProven capability in 8D problem solving, Voice of Customer methodologies, RMA, and CAR processes-demonstrating readiness to lead complex quality issues\n\nHands-on experience working directly with suppliers to resolve raw material quality concerns and influence improvement at the source\n\nStrong working knowledge of SAP QA modules and disciplined document management\n\nClear, confident communication skills with the ability to lead discussions, influence outcomes, and present to senior stakeholders\n\nA collaborative mindset and the ambition to build strong relationships across internal teams, customers, contract manufacturers, and suppliers\n\nWillingness to travel to supplier and CM sites as part of developing end-to-end quality leadership exposure\n\nBenefits\nDyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and bonuses.
