This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong systems thinking, diagnostic ability, and user-focused problem solving.\nYou will act as a subject-matter expert for our Source Code Management & Build, ensuring they are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned to engineering workflows. You will support engineers across multiple programmes, partner closely with Product Owners and DevOps Engineers, and contribute to the evolution of the developer experience.\nAccountable for:\nTool Administration & Configuration\nCore Tool Ownership\nAs a tooling specialist, you will own and manage key SDLC tools, maintaining high standards of consistency and governance. Responsibilities include:\nDeployment & Configuration of projects, repositories, pipelines, and permission models\nManaging workflows, schemes, templates, and tool-specific configuration standards\nMaintaining tool best-practice guidelines and enforcing consistent usage patterns\nEnsuring coherent configuration across teams, products, and regions\nIdentity & Access Management\nConfigure roles, groups, and permission structures\nIntegrate tools with enterprise identity systems (SSO, LDAP, Azure AD)\nEnforce least-privilege access and compliance with audit requirements\nSupport user onboarding and offboarding activities\nIntegration Across the SDLC Toolchain\nOwn Tool Integrations End-to-End\nYou’ll ensure SDLC tools operate as a connected, cohesive platform, not isolated systems. Key responsibilities:\nMaintain integrations across:Jira ↔ Bitbucket\nBitbucket ↔ CI/build systems\nBuild systems ↔ SonarQube / BlackDuck\nBuild systems ↔ Artifactory\n\nMonitor integration health and performance\nDiagnose and resolve cross-tool or cross-pipeline failures\nData & Traceability Enablement\nMaintain traceability from plan → code → build → scan → artefact\nSupport evidence requirements for audits, compliance, and release governance\nEnsure lifecycle data integrity across engineering processes\nOperational Support & Incident Management\nDay-to-Day Platform Operations\nMonitor system health, logs, utilisation, and performance metrics\nRespond to incidents, outages, and service degradation\nPerform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades\nManage backups, restores, lifecycle management, and housekeeping\nProblem Management\nConduct root-cause analysis for recurring or high-impact issues\nDistinguish systemic/tooling issues from user errors\nImplement preventative fixes, automation, and configuration improvements\nUser Enablement & Support\nUser Assistance & Troubleshooting\nSupport global engineering teams with permissions, configuration, and workflow problems\nInterpret log data and tool behaviours to diagnose issues\nProvide guidance on correct usage patterns and best practices\nEnablement & Documentation\nDevelop and maintain:How-to guides\nConfiguration standards\nTroubleshooting documentation\n\nContribute to onboarding materials and training\nPromote and enable self-service where possible\nCI/CD & Build System Enablement\nPipeline & Build Configuration\nConfigure and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines\nSupport multiple languages, frameworks, and build technologies\nMaintain reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries\nEnsure builds are reliable, repeatable, and aligned with engineering standards\nOptimise Build Performance\nIdentify bottlenecks across build and pipeline stages\nImprove caching, parallelism, and artefact reuse\nReduce build failures caused by inconsistent build environments\nChange, Upgrade & Migration Support\nTool Upgrades\nPlan and deliver upgrades and patches\nValidate integrations and behaviours post-upgrade\nEnsure minimal disruption during rollouts\nSupport rollback paths when necessary\nMigration Activities\nAssist with migrations across tools, instances, or versions\nSupport repository, project, and artefact migration workflows\nValidate data integrity and completeness post-migration\nAbout you\nQualification & Skills\nStrong hands-on experience operating and configuring SDLC tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc.)\nExpertise in CI/CD principles, build systems, and DevOps ways of working\nExperience diagnosing issues across toolchains and integrations\nKnowledge of identity systems (SSO, LDAP, Azure AD)\nExposure to scripting for automation (Python, Bash, or similar)\nUnderstanding of modern software engineering practices and workflows\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, complex engineering environment\nGood verbal and written Chinese & English skills.\nBehaviours\nDetail-focused, reliable, and systematic\nCalm and structured when troubleshooting critical issues\nCollaborative, positive, and supportive across global teams\nUser-centric, approachable, and clear in communication\nCurious, improvement-oriented, and proactive in learning\nDesirable\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)\nFamiliarity with SAST/DAST or OSS compliance tooling\nExperience with large-scale tool migrations\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, certificates, proxies)\nBenefits\nDyson Singapore monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and bonuses.
