Our teams will continue to grow as Dyson ramp up forays into different areas.\nTechnical Program Management (TPM) Team: NPI Project Delivery\nThe TPM team oversees end to end delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.\nEach TPM Project Manager (TPM) is assigned an NPI project within a specific category.\nThe TPM evaluates project complexity and collaborates with key engineering functions to allocate necessary resources.\nThe TPM establishes critical engineering checkpoints to track progress and secure senior management approval.\nBeyond engineering reviews, the TPM holds weekly project meetings with their team.\nTPM manage project CAPEX when needed, ensuring spending stays within budget and requesting additional funds when needed.\nStrong coordination and collaboration across engineering teams are essential; TPM must steer this and make tough decisions when required.\nThe TPM is responsible for mapping and achieving functional milestones at each checkpoint.\nSuccess requires thriving in a fast paced, evolving environment and delivering optimal solutions within deadlines.\nThe TPM works closely with Operations to install production capacities at the right time.\nTPM are committed team players: they’re flexible, proactive, and willing to exceed expectations.\nTPMs collaborate cross-functionally to deliver DF(X) and design to cost initiatives, ensuring project goals are met.\nTPM Responsibilities for NPI Projects\nTPM Project lead will be assigned to individual project.\nAssess NPI complexity and create a resource plan, secure buy in from engineering functions and coordinate staffing.\nSet key checkpoints and engage stakeholders for their approval and input.\nGuide engineering teams to define their deliverables and clear milestones, including relevant design contributions.\nEnsure each function integrates required protocols, such as IQ/OQ/PQ or DFM and Mold Flow analysis, into their plans. Align with Operations on project goals and deliverables.\nHold regular NPI review and share project updates with senior management.\nBuild strong relationships with teams outside engineering, especially RDD, Operations and outsource procurement, to support NPI success.\nMaintain a project tracker covering health, timeline adherence, capital spending, DF(X), design to cost and risk projections.\nFoster a collaborative and positive culture across the project team.\n Provide key insights from Manufacturing and Operations perspectives.\nAct as the escalation point for challenges, driving swift resolution.\nCandidate Requirements:\nHolds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.\nDemonstrates a strong drive to learn and challenge existing production test and assembly methods.\nApplies solid engineering judgement beyond their core discipline.\nHas managed, directly or indirectly, a team of at least five people.\nWorks independently with minimal supervision.\nBrings at least five years of relevant NPI project experience.\nExperienced in regulated environments, including protocol driven processes like IQ/OQ/PQ.\nFamiliar with the challenges of outsourced operations.\nPMP certification is an advantage.\nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
