The role exists to reduce repeat errors, strengthen control of graphics contents and compliance wording, and ensure packaging information is accurate, consistent and ready for release across global markets. This role also ensures that mandatory tests for packaging and graphic items are in place and meet latest market requirements.\nYou will act as the technical lead and escalation point for packaging content accuracy, working closely with Packaging Engineering, Graphics, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Project Management, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams. You will define robust ways of working, maintain clear requirements, challenge gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions so that Dyson packaging meets customer, regulatory and brand expectations without compromising project delivery.\nAccountabilities\nPackaging and Graphic Content Governance\nLead the verification of packaging content, including box contents, labels, symbols, warnings, claims, carton markings, barcodes and market-specific wording. \nEnsure packaging content is aligned to approved product specifications, customer requirements, regulatory inputs, brand guidance and project deliverables. \nOwn and maintain clear content requirement documentation, ensuring changes are captured, controlled, communicated and implemented across relevant projects. \nReview and approve packaging content at key project stages before artwork release, print approval or production readiness. \nCompliance, Risk and Issue Resolution\nIdentify content, compliance and artwork risks early, assess potential impact to projects and drive timely corrective action. \nAct as the escalation point for recurring packaging content issues, customer complaints or non-conformances linked to box contents and compliance wording. \nLead root cause reviews and ensure robust preventive actions are embedded into standards, checklists and ways of working. \nLead & maintain latest update on mandatory test and requirement in G&P area. \nContinuous Improvement and Standards\nDefine, improve and standardise packaging & graphics content processes, templates, approval checklists and review gates across Graphics & Packaging. \nDrive lessons learnt from project issues, print errors and customer feedback into sustainable process improvements. \nBuild capability across project teams by sharing best practice, coaching engineers and improving awareness of common packaging content risks. \nMonitor the effectiveness of improvements through clear metrics, issue trends and feedback from project stakeholders. \nSupport implementation of new tools or ways of working that improve content accuracy, version control and approval discipline. \nCross-functional Delivery\nWork across Packaging Engineering, Graphics, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Project Management, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to align requirements and resolve blockers. \nInfluence stakeholders without direct authority to ensure packaging content decisions are made clearly, quickly and with the right level of technical rigour. \nProvide clear status, risks and mitigation plans to project and functional leaders, supporting on-time, on-quality delivery through to SOP. \nAbout you\nDegree in Packaging Engineering, Graphic Communication, Product Design, Engineering, Regulatory Compliance or equivalent practical experience. \nTypically 5+ years’ experience in packaging, artwork, product labelling, compliance, quality or related engineering environments. \nProven experience managing cross-functional content or documentation approval processes in a fast-moving product development environment. \nStrong understanding of packaging artwork, printed content, labelling requirements, regulatory wording, customer requirements and version control. \nExperience leading continuous improvement activity, root cause analysis and corrective actions within engineering, quality or operational teams. \nSkills and behaviours\nExceptional attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership for accuracy, compliance and quality. \nAble to balance technical detail with the wider project, commercial and customer impact. \nConfident communicator who can influence stakeholders, challenge gaps constructively and drive clear decisions. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, remove root causes and prevent repeat issues. \nHighly organised, with strong documentation, governance and version-control discipline. \nComfortable leading workstreams, coaching others and operating independently in a matrix organisation. \nAble to manage multiple priorities and maintain delivery pace without compromising accuracy. \nProficient in Microsoft Office and artwork review tools; experience with PLM, approval workflows or packaging documentation systems would be beneficial. \nCurious, proactive and driven to improve how things work, with a clear focus on preventing mistakes before they reach production or customers. \nDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
