Working closely with Retail Design, Brand Experience, Creative, RDD, Commercial, and Programme Management teams, you will ensure demonstration activity is aligned to business priorities and delivers engaging customer experiences.\nA key aspect of the role is developing demonstration strategies and roadmaps for Dyson's business units, identifying opportunities to showcase technology, support product launches, and create greater customer understanding and engagement.\nSuccess in this role will come from strong leadership, effective stakeholder management, clear project governance, and the ability to build a high-performing team capable of delivering innovative, scalable, and impactful demonstration solutions.\nAbout The Role\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of Product Demonstration Engineers, undergraduate placement students, and graduate students. \nCreate a high-performing team culture that promotes innovation, technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. \nDevelop and maintain Product Demonstration strategies and roadmaps aligned to the priorities of Dyson's business units. \nOwn and prioritise the Product Demonstration portfolio, balancing business needs, resource capacity, and delivery timelines. \nOversee the development of demonstration solutions from concept through validation and implementation, ensuring they are technically robust, scalable, and commercially effective. \nAct as the key link between Retail, Brand Experience, Creative, RDD, Commercial, and Programme Management teams to ensure alignment on demonstration priorities and delivery. \nEstablish effective project governance, planning, resource allocation, and risk management across the demonstration portfolio. \nEnsure demonstration experiences accurately communicate Dyson technology and performance while delivering engaging customer experiences. \nBuild strong relationships across engineering and product teams to identify future technologies and demonstration opportunities. \nProvide clear reporting on project status, portfolio health, team capacity, risks, and key delivery milestones. \nDrive continuous improvement through the development of best practices, processes, and demonstration standards. \nContribute to the growth of a best-in-class global Product Demonstration capability that supports retail, events, and future customer engagement channels. \nAbout You\nDegree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. \nExperience leading and developing technical, engineering, design, or innovation teams. \nExperience developing and delivering physical products, demonstrations, installations, or interactive experiences from concept through implementation. \nStrong project and portfolio management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities. \nStrong technical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance innovation with practical delivery. \nGood understanding of mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical systems. \nExperience translating high-level creative concepts into technically robust, scalable, and commercially viable solutions. \nStrong understanding of prototyping, design validation, testing methodologies, and iterative development processes. \nAbility to balance customer experience, technical feasibility, operational requirements, and commercial considerations. \nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across creative, engineering, retail, and commercial teams. \nExperience influencing senior stakeholders and facilitating cross-functional decision making. \nStrong leadership and coaching skills, with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. \nHighly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities. \nComfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and learning through testing and iteration. \nStrong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas, project updates, and strategic recommendations clearly. \nAbility to travel when required. \nBenefits\nAt Dyson, Reward goes beyond just salary and bonuses.
