As the Senior Commercial Manager you will own the category roadmap across the full product lifecycle, from portfolio planning and new product introduction through to ongoing optimisation and end-of-life management.\nWorking across Dyson, you will partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Revenue, Claims, Insights, Office of the CEO and Market teams to ensure consumer, commercial and business priorities are reflected in key decisions. You will represent the category internally, using market insights, competitive intelligence and consumer understanding to shape future opportunities and deliver category performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nCategory expert\nBuild and maintain a deep understanding of the sub-category ecosystem including competitive activity, points of differentiation for Dyson and shifting consumer trends\nIdentify and evaluate potential opportunities for white space or new business opportunities within the category; bring those ideas via clear briefs to engineering teams\nCommercial & Market Execution\nLead development of product claims including technology advantages as coordination of clinical or lab studies as required\nLead development of value propositions and category narratives to ensure strongest positioning of Dyson products\nDevelopment of pricing, go-to-market and category activation strategies\nTranslate market feedback and consumer insights into briefs for Commercial, Campaign and Creative teams\nPartner with global and local teams to ensure consistent positioning, messaging and execution\nLaunch Readiness\nSupport business ops and portfolio planning to ensure launch readiness\nLead naming, claims and positioning work to ensure milestones are met\nCategory performance\nMonitor sub-category level performance globally and understand key challenges\nWhere required, look for mitigation plans to ensure commercial success of all the sub category products\nDevelop ideas to drive further penetration within the beauty categories (including things such as partnerships, geographic initiatives etc.) \nCross-Functional Leadership\nBuild strong partnerships across Engineering, Finance, Operations, Revenue, Creative and Market teams.\nInfluence stakeholders through data-driven insights and sound commercial judgement\nLead cross-functional workstreams and drive alignment on category priorities\nCommunicate performance, risks and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders\nAbout you\nWe’re looking for a dedicated and innovative marketing professional with the following qualifications:\n· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or experience in a related field\n· Experience: 5-6 years of product/brand management experience, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry\n· Passion for Beauty Technology: Demonstrated enthusiasm for the evolving beauty tech landscape\n· Commercial Expertise: Proven success in fast-paced environments with a strong grasp of commercial strategies, market analysis, and business acumen.\n· Collaboration and Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, inspiring teams to achieve shared goals.\n· Creative and Analytical Thinking: Ability to write compelling product briefs and guide creative processes.
