DYWIDAG is a German construction technology company that supplies geotechnical systems such as ground anchors, micropiles, soil nails and rock bolts, together with post-tensioning, stay cable and structural monitoring systems for bridges, buildings, tunnels and wind towers. Founded in 1865 by Eugen Dyckerhoff and Gottlieb Widmann, it employs more than 1,500 people in over 50 countries, has prestressed over 2,500 wind towers since 2012 and is owned by Sumitomo Electric Industries. It hires civil engineers, installers and rope access technicians, sales engineers, quality inspectors, production operators and IT staff, with many German roles in Königsbrunn.

From the steel in our first reinforced bridge in 1903, to railway sensors, we work with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies, and design offices to support their infrastructure projects.

Our systems are found in iconic projects such as The Golden Gate Bridge, Panama Canal, Kap Shui Mun Bridge, and Freedom Tower.
