The candidate must work well with customers, contractors, and hardware engineers to affect the implementation of system requirements.\nRequired Skills and Responsibilities:\nCable Fabrication: Cut, strip, crimp, tin, an solder wires using both manual hand tools and automated fabrication machinery. \nAssembly Execution: Route, wire, and assemble components on harness layout boards using schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials.\nHardware Installation: Insert contacts into connectors, apply heat-shrink tubing, install backshells, and attach labels to wires. \n3+ years of relevant industry experience\nMust have strong background with aircraft system theory\nAbility to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.\nMust have the ability to assemble, modify, route and install wire bundles, connectors and other electrical components in confined spaces such as cockpits, avionics and ECS bays\nAbility to use basic test equipment such as multi-meters and aircraft system specific related test equipment.\nAble to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.\nAble to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.\nProvides input of technical and operational knowledge in the assessment and repair/maintenance recommendations in support of the program assigned.\nPreferred Skills/ Qualifications:\nFamiliar with IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001 \nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nClearance Level Required: None \nTravel Required: None.\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nMay be performing physical activities including but not limited to climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
