Join us.\nPosition Title: Electronics Engineer\nLocation: Irvine, CA\nWork Arrangement: On-site\nPosition Summary:\nDZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Electronics Engineer who will be a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of DZYNE’s aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nParticipate in full PCB design cycle involving schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance tests\nDesign, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystems\nDefine wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle\nSupport design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements\nConduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews\nWork closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\nMinimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experience\nDemonstrated capability in circuit board design, bring-up, and validation\nProven experience in designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshooting\nKnowledge of Analog/Mixed-signal and Digital circuits/components\nCompetence with common test equipment, and CAD tools such as Altium\nProven communication and interpersonal skills\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nExperience in designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systems\nHands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware/software integration\nUAV experience highly desirable\nExperience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment\nFamiliarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessing\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\nClearance Level Required: None\nTravel Required: Up to10%\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nMust have the ability to stop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.\nSalary: $100,000 - $149,000 annually\nSalary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
