This position is responsible for transporting, securing, and managing company assets-including fleet vehicles, drone systems, and field equipment-between various locations. The role requires hands-on field deployment to support event setup, logistics coordination, equipment assembly/disassembly, inventory management, and on-site operational support. This position acts as a key logistics contact, ensuring smooth execution, safety, and accountability in all field operations.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nSafely transport assets, equipment, and fleet vehicles between work sites, warehouses, and field locations.\nServe as the primary on-site logistics point of contact for field operations and events.\nSupport field deployments including booth setup, equipment staging, tenting, signage placement, and other event-ready preparations.\nAssemble and disassemble field equipment components, ensuring proper functionality and safe handling.\nMaintain strict control of inventory including check-in/check-out, documentation, and reconciliation of assets.\nExecute daily/weekly asset inspections and maintain accurate logs of equipment conditions.\nEnsure the security of all assets during transport, staging, and field operations.\nCoordinate with operations, engineering, and field teams to ensure equipment and materials arrive on schedule and meet mission requirements.\nDrive long distances as needed and work extended or irregular hours to support mission-critical operations.\nFollow all safety standards, compliance requirements, and internal SOPs for transportation, setup, and equipment handling.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics workflows, asset management, and field operational efficiency.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\nAbility to adhere to direction or organizational logistics need and execute tasks effectively.\nCDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class A or B, if the organization moves to heavier or commercial-grade equipment.\nExperience in field logistics, event operations, transportation, warehousing, or similar hands-on operational roles.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving long distances and transporting equipment.\nAbility to lift, carry, assemble, and move equipment up to 50 lbs.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in inventory and asset tracking.\nComfortable working outdoors for extended periods and in fast-paced, dynamic environments.\nAbility to follow instructions clearly, execute independently, and communicate updates promptly.\nStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability during on-site operations.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nField Operations Specialist\nEducation:\nHigh School or 5 years of experiences or more in logistics experiences.\nCollege with 2 or more years of experience\nClearance Level Required: Secret\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms.\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.\nTravel Required: Yes, more than 75%\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work\nSalary: $75,000 - $ 83,000 annually\nPay depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions.
