This onsite role will provide essential payroll supervision and coordination of the payroll team and payroll processing operations for multiple entities and locations in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will support and oversee some of the activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, addressing and resolving questions and issues, reports, reconciliations and ad hoc requests as necessary.\nThis role requires an understanding of payroll systems, compliance regulations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing complex payroll functions in a fast-paced environment.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupervise, mentor, train, manage workload distribution, establish priorities, evaluate and oversee payroll team across multiple entities and locations on process, procedures, meeting deadlines, tax compliance and internal controls\nLead, Prepare, review and approve processing of payroll runs across multiple U.S. states and entities, ensuring accuracy of hours, earnings, direct deposits, tax withholdings and compliance with internal policies and wage rules\nEnsure compliance across U.S. states, including staying current on Federal, State, and Local payroll laws.\nSupervise and approve reconciliation of payroll data and benefits across systems, ledgers and vendors\nOversee and manage the organization of payroll documentation, tax records and employee information to support accurate record keeping, payroll processing and tax compliance.\nOversee and review team’s responses to internal and external payroll questions, address discrepancies, and provide timely support to employees regarding pay-related matters, questions, errors and escalate to Director as necessary.\nPrepare, oversee and approve payroll general ledger reconciliations, internal reviews, audits (internal and external) and reporting activities.\nCreate documentation of Standard Operating Payroll process\nPromote accountability, continuous process improvement for payroll efficiency, compliance and customer service\nAd hoc requests as necessary.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\nExtensive knowledge of payroll processing, including payroll taxes, reconciliations, and internal controls\nStrong analytical, detail oriented, accuracy, problem-solving, and organizational skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information\nFamiliarity with payroll/HRIS platforms and Microsoft Excel.\nAbility to work independently while flagging issues proactively.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\n 3+ years of in a Payroll Supervisor Role, preferably in a high-volume environment.\nExperience processing multi-state payroll and handling complex payroll scenarios preferred.\nClearance Level Required: None\nTravel Required: 5%\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms.\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.\nSalary: $90,000 to $115,000 annually\nPay depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
