Join us.\nPosition Title: Senior Electronics Engineer - System Architect\nLocation: Irvine, CA\nWork Arrangement: On-site\nPosition Summary\nThis role is responsible for leading the development of top level electrical/electronic system architecture for UAS platforms from initial concept through full system integration. The position performs hands on electrical design, including circuit and subsystem development, and drives data informed decisions through comprehensive trade studies. It also defines and maintains Interface Control Documents and subsystem requirements to ensure compatibility and performance across the system. The role collaborates closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, while guiding electrical integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure reliable, high-quality UAS system performance.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\n7+ years of relevant professional experience\nDemonstrated capability in architecture development for UAS or airborne platforms.\nExpertise in electronics engineering, including circuit design for SMPS electronics, high speed communication, and common serial interfaces.\nExperience with component selection for prototype to productization.\nProven experience in developing and maintaining ICDs and defining electrical subsystem requirements.\nExperience supporting troubleshooting and root cause investigations in complex systems.\nBackground in regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defense, or Government contracting.\nExperience with PCB design including schematic capture and layout, using CAD tools such as Altium\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nSignificant background in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Airborne ISR, or low-cost expendable aircraft design.\nExperience in production/factory environments, including DFM/DFA and documentation for manufacturing.\nExperience developing embedded software.\nFamiliarity with system safety, EMI/EMC compliance, and environmental qualification testing.\nPrevious leadership or principal-level roles in cross-functional system architecture efforts\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering\nClearance Level Required: None\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
