Join us.\nPosition Title: Senior RF Engineer\nLocation: Portland, OR\nWork Arrangement: On-site\nPosition Summary:\nDZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Senior RF Engineer capable of supporting both on-going and new RF product lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RF design, simulation and testing tools, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize RF systems and components from concept to production.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, simulate, prototype, integrate/test, and analyze RF circuits and systems (e.g. PLL, DDS, PA, combiners, and filters) using tools such as Altium, SPICE, HFSS, CST Studio, and COMSOL.\nPerform manual and scripted (Python) RF tests and measurements using Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, and RF power meters.\nDevelop and optimize PCB stack-ups and layouts for RF applications, ensuring excellent RF performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (including electronic hardware, firmware, mechanical, and system engineers) to integrate RF components and sub-assemblies into larger systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve RF performance issues during prototyping and production phases.\nDocument design decisions and processes, test plans, methods, and results, and provide technical reports and recommendations.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\n7+ years’ experience in Defense, Telecommunications, or a related field.\nStrong knowledge of PCB design and layout techniques specific to RF circuits.\nProven experience with RF simulation tools.\nHands-on experience with RF test equipment.\nAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nExperience with advanced RF system design and integration.\nFamiliarity with EMC/EMI considerations in RF design.\nKnowledge of wireless communication standards and protocols.\nExperience with Python test scripting.\nExperience using Jira for task management.\nEducation :\nBachelor's degree or above in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nClearance Level Required: No Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desired\nTravel Required: Not required for daily activities, but probable travel once per quarter\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.\nSalary: 180,000-200,000 annually\nSalary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
